BirchNY is an IT, security, and compliance firm based in New York. We work with small and growing companies, mostly in financial services and technology, and we work remotely with clients across the US.
Senior-led, every time
Every engagement is led by a senior practitioner with 15 years in IT and security. Small clients at larger firms often get handed to a junior team after the sales call. Here, the person who scopes the work does the work.
Where the experience comes from
We have built and run security programs in security, fintech, ad-tech, legal, and e-commerce companies: cloud security, identity and access management, endpoint protection, incident response, network security, risk management, and security operations. That range matters, because the same control looks different to an auditor, an investor, and a customer's security team.
We started in IT, before we specialized in security, which is why we don't treat security as a bolt-on. It has to work with the systems you actually run.
How we work
- Prices are published, and every engagement has a written fixed price or monthly fee.
- We work remotely across the US. In the New York City area we also meet in person at no charge, and do onsite work billed hourly.
- We tell you when something isn't worth doing, including when you don't need us.
